Wednesday 28th January 2015 @ 19:30 at The Festival Drayton Centre. Big Eden is a tiny town tucked away in the timberland of northwestern Montana, where cowboys lounge on the porch of the general store to pass the time away. It’s also the childhood home of Henry Hart. a successful but lonely New York artist, who returns after years away to care for his ailing grandfather.
Pink at The Barley, returns on Thursday 18th December. 7pm-2am. DJ and dance-floor. Safe and friendly environment.
Monday 1st December 2014 @ 20:00 at The Hive. Join us for our World Aid’s Day screening of Test . With sensitive performances, an upbeat 80s soundtrack and electrifying dance sequences TEST is a compelling drama that lovingly recreates gay life in 1980’s San Francisco.
We are really pleased that Maria and Karen have opened up their new cafe in the Riverside shopping precinct in Shrewsbury. They are very pleased to welcome LGBT people and friends, love films and they are creating a warm and safe place, with lovely home made cakes and coffees etc. They are open 9 am to 5 pm Mondays to Saturdays
The Saturday Short Film Audience Award – Fiction – was awarded to Moire.
The Sunday Short Film Audience Award – Non-Fiction – was awarded to Mark Bunyan Very Nearly Almost Famous. Congrats to all!
Bette Bourne, the subject of a documentary, will speak at a Q&A following the screening of a film about his life – a life described as ‘a real life Priscilla Queen of the Desert adventure’, by the Directors, Mark Ravenhill and Jeremy Jeffs.
