To mark this years International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT), Shropshire Rainbow Film Festival are screening the documentary “This Is Gay Propaganda: LGBT Rights & the War in Ukraine” in Shrewsbury.
The Salopian Rainbows in Shrewsbury were thrilled to be asked to host a weekend of events 12 – 14 Feb 2016, as part of the 2nd National Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans History Festival, along with Manchester, York, Bristol, Newcastle and London; involving local schools; national figures; theatre; film; presentations and more.

Rose Collis brings her acclaimed one-woman musical cabaret show to Shrewsbury Library, as part of an Arts Council-funded tour for LGBT History Month 2016. At Shrewsbury Library, 24th February 2016 7.30pm

The Times of Harvey Milk – Sunday 14th February 2016 @ 14:30, The Hive. Plus: Harvey’s nephew, Stuart Milk, President of The Harvey Milk Foundation will be giving a talk. Like Harvey, Stuart has chosen to speak out as an openly gay advocate for not only the LGBT community, but all who remain marginalized or diminished by inequality in the law, or societal inequality.
