Joan & Gabriel have finished their crowdfunding campaign and are now well on their way to making their short film (Wherever You Are) a reality. Thank you everyone for your support.
“Wherever You Are” started last year when the two directors met at our film festival and will be premiered at our festival in October 2016. Gabriel’s previous film was “Caught Inside – The Taboo of Being A Gay Surfer” and Joan’s was “Bulls“.
Gabriel and Joan decided to work together to explore the relationship between a father and son, with an integrated theme of LGBT, romance and drama. The short film tells the story of a father who loses his son, crippled with grief yet longing to do something for his son and will be filmed here in Shrewsbury.
