Every year we are delighted to welcome film directors and guest speakers from all over the world to our festival. However, as the film festival gets more and more popular we are running out of spare bed space. Though there are some lovely hotels in Shrewsbury, our budget is getting tighter as grants are getting smaller.
We need your help, if you are able to host one (or more) of our lovely directors and guest speakers during this years festival (6-8th October 2017) please get in touch. We realise it’s months away and you may not know your own plans yet, so for now please just register your interest and we will be in touch nearer the time as and when needed.
Often our guests have never been to Shrewsbury or Shropshire so we are also after some volunteers to show the directors around town during the festival, such as welcome them at the train station, show them the sights, have a meal with them, make sure they know where they are going and not feeling abandoned.
